   On Saturday, April 26, 2008 the Academy of Martial Arts hosted the 9th Annual Bushishin Budo Renmei Invitational Tournament at Sumter, SC.  Highlights of the day included self defense demonstrations by association Black Belts, as well as competitions in kata (forms) and kumite (sparring) in Kamishin Kempo Karate.
